Edgewater Parks & Rec Basketball Trophies
This commission was for two basketballs to be given out as trophies for the summer basketball league champions and runners up.
The client wanted a variety of iconic Edgewater references. Other than that request, I was given creative freedom to design the basketballs.
The blue elephant is an iconic animal to the city based on a rumored story that dates back to the 1860's. The building at the bottom is the recreation center that sits near Sloan's Lake. There are other landmarks written in white throughout the basketball.
Edgewater Parks & Rec Volleyball Trophies
This commission was for two volleyballs to be given out as trophies for the winter volleyball league champions and runners up.
The client wanted a variety of iconic Edgewater references within one city scene.
The same elephant is referenced here as with the basketballs. The recreation center is in the background, along with Sloan''s Lake to the right. The red Edgewater sign hang over the painting similar to how it hangs over the main street that takes you into the city itself.
