Comic Book
This student had a passion for comic books. For her senior final I encouraged her to make a complete comic book. She learned how to use Adobe InDesign to arrange and format her comic pages for professional printing. This was printed from Mixam.com. Multiple copies were printed, and there is also a copy in the school library that students can check out.
Playing Cards
Students were challenged to design an entire themed set of playing cards and its packaging. The theme for the deck displayed here was punk rock genres.
Illustration Styles
Students were challenged with creating three illustrations within a similar theme, but showcasing different illustrations styles. We practiced various illustration styles in class using Adobe Photoshop and various brushes for a few weeks prior, and then they decided on their strongest ones to showcase in a triptych series.
